FAQ

Why are some images significantly less than others? Is this a typo?

Thank you so much for noticing! This is not a typo. I currently offer two types of prints: limited edition and open edition. See below to understand the difference.

What is a limited edition print?

A limited edition work of art will only ever be created so many times before it is discontinued. The artist will usually edition the work somewhere on the print as such: 1/15, 3/5, etc. Basically, only so many copies in a specific size will ever be created and that is it. Once the edition runs out, it will be closed out and no longer be available for sale no matter how much you ask or how many breakfast burritos you offer me ;)

Most of my pieces are limited edition and come in 3 sizes. Each piece will be presented with a certificate of authenticity either with your purchase or up to two weeks after.

The sizes and editions I offer as of 2019 are as follow:

Small: 8x10 or 5x5, edition of 15

Medium: 16x20 or 12x12, edition of 8

Large: 30x24 or 20x20, edition of 5

Currently, my editioned works are Giclée Prints on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper - this is not the standard type of print or paper that you would find at any online print shop.

Each work is hand inspected and signed by me before it ever makes it way to you.

What is an open edition print?

An open edition work of art has no limit as to how many pieces will be created during my lifetime. Because of this, they are priced lower than a limited edition work of art. Additionally, open edition prints are primarily printed on E-Surface Photo Paper (unless otherwise stated in the product’s page) making them an affordable way to own an “Anna D. Bruce” work of art. Open edition works are not usually signed nor come with certificates of authenticity and will no longer be offered in works created in late 2018 and on.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final unless they were damaged during shipping. In which case, please contact me at hello (at) adbrucephotos (dot) com to begin the process.

Damaged Limited Edition Works: Due to sensitive nature of limited edition art, all damaged prints MUST be return and received by Anna D. Bruce in order to initiate an exchange. Because each piece is editioned, it MUST be destroyed by me before it can be re-issued. You will be given a return label. PLEASE KEEP ALL PACKAGING MATERIAL otherwise you will incur shipping costs (they are not usually cheap $80 and up!)

Missing Limited Edition Works: Each piece is professionally packaged, insured and will require your signature upon arrival. Once your work of art is signed for, it becomes your responsibility.
